Anson,

In your radiusd.conf file there is a parameter that needs to be set

log_auth = yes

These two parameters do something different

# Log passwords with the authentication requests.
#  log_auth_badpass  - logs password if it's rejected
#  log_auth_goodpass - logs password if it's correct
#
#  allowed values: {no, yes}
#
log_auth_badpass = yes
log_auth_goodpass = yes

like the notes say, once you turn on the log_auth parameter, these two
will include password info with the request like so:

Mon Jan 12 11:35:57 2004 : Auth: rlm_unix: [username]: invalid password
Mon Jan 12 11:35:57 2004 : Auth: Login incorrect: [username/badpass]
(from client webfe port 0)
Mon Jan 12 11:36:24 2004 : Auth: Login OK: [username/goodpass] (from
client webfe port 0)

normal configuration to aee auth requests would be
log_auth = yes
log_auth_badpass = no
log_auth_goodpass = no
