Hi there, I'm trying to get PEAP authentication with windows XP working using FreeRadius.
I can authenticate with XSupplicant under Linux fine, but Windows fails apparently with the error "Failing Auth because we got a success/fail without TLV." EAP-TLS authentication works fine under XP, it's only PEAP that I'm having problems with. The various log and config files can be found at: http://www.ecs.soton.ac.uk/~ms/802.1x/ The file RASTLS.LOG is the WindowsXP log, obtained by setting the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Tracing\RASTLS\EnableFileTracing flag to 1. In the peap section I've tried various combinations of the copy_request_to_tunnel and use_tunneled_reply flags to no avail - including leaving them unspecified. I've also tried several snapshots including 20031210, and 20040113. The windows XP machine is fully up-to-date on patches and the access point is a DLink DWL-900AP+ Hopefully somebody can spot what is probably a silly mis-configuration on my part!
