I have the same prob. There are some hints in the radiusd.conf file but not more.

Perhaps anybody can post some working files.

With the default entry in the radiusd.conf I got it to work and
it accumulates the "Acct-Session-Time" but doesn't reject the next
login if "Max-Daily-Session" is reached ... and it doesnt't add
the "Session-Timeout" attribute, never.

Is there a special request necessary from the NAS for the rlm_counter?
I commented out the "allowed-servicetype = Framed-User" attribute in the
radiusd.conf because my NAS doesn't send it.

Me too, any suggestions ??? Thank you.

Any suggestions???

Thanks for the other information!

yes.

I'm trying to assist my client in his ISP to accomplish two things:

1> Disallow multiple logins from more than one person while online.

Use the Simultaneous-Use option

disconnected.

Look at rlm_counter

I was told FreeRadius may be of some service.....

Yes it can, download it and read the documentation provided.

Client is using PM-3 Remote Access Servers.

We used one of these for a while. It worked fine.
