The lucent list said, i can't send empty username to the Lucent PM3, i'm wondering if it's the case with other NAS vendors?
No, it said, "The PM3 is dropping the session at the PPP level, it is not sending anything to RADIUS".
Some vendors allows blank usernames. It is not required per the RFC, though not using one makes things a bit interesting.
