SecureW2 supports _only_ EAP-TTLS + PAP. For the client have a look at Alfa & Ariss user guides.

Only PAP will work ! Did you disable server certificate check in SecureW2 client ?
Yes, all is disabled as described in the Manual of SecureW2 client.
I think that is the reason, freeradius is not listed as supported radiusserver on the Alfa and Ariss homepage :-(
