And to follow-up on my last email, I'm running 0.9.3 and when I run radtest against the localhost entry, it still doesn't work for the same reason. It plainly says it is reading the clients.conf file (Config: including file: /usr/local/freeradius/etc/raddb/clients.conf), but the two entries appear to be ignored. Thanks for the time.

Can anyone tell me what I'm missing here? I have tried the IP and shared key in both clients and clients.conf and restarted radiusd, but it will not acknowledge the NAS. Currently there is only a single clients.conf file on the drive for it to read from, so it has to be reading from the one pasted below. Thanks for the time.

bash-2.05a# cat clients.conf # # clients.conf - client configuration directives #######################################################################

client 66.92.167.132 {
       secret = 12345
       shortname  = aruba
