clean_radacct integration

We are using SQL modules for accounting with freeradius.  Often, we don't get the stop accounting packet from the NAS.  This means the user cannot log in again until we manually clear the accounting entry in the radacct table.  Timeout is set for 15 minutes, but it doesn't look like that sets an accounting entry.   I hate to customize code, but has anyone modified the dialup_admin interface to allow clean_radacct (this would have to be modified as well) by user?  Do you finger the nas first to verify?  I'd love to hear what others are doing.  I'm happy to do it, just don't want to reinvent the wheel.   Thanks, Andrew
