Hi All I have been reviewing the documentation and am still unclear on an item.
We will have a 3rd party manage our modem pool (the 3rd party will have their own radius server), it will send a request to authenticate a user dialing in, to our radius server which will (hopefully) query our ldap server for one of 3 values (depending on which class of modem they dialed into) in an attribute, based on their user ID and password being correct also. >From what I have understood so far, the proxying only seems to be the opposite direction, where freeradius sends the request to another radius server to authenticate. I assume the ldap checking of our own attribute can be done also? Apologies if its a 'bad' question but I'm rather new to the field and amd still learning.
