Alan, :-) i think the question is if the session-timeout value in the users file gets automagically decreased in order to represent the remaining session time :-)

Aime, session-timeout is something sent to the NAS. the NAS is responsible for counting the session minutes of the current session and to close it after its expiration. nothing gets ever changed in the user file and does not need to. Session-timeout is _not_ supposed to represent the max allowed user connection time per month. You can do that with other methods (i.e. using accounting values). Please search the freeradius list for rlm_counter or Max-Monthly-Session:
