Title: How to configure RADIUS attribute Session-timeout

All:

In RFC 2869: If RADIUS attribute Session-Timeout is present in an Access-Challenge packet that also contains an EAP-Message,

the value of the Session-Timeout provides the NAS (in our case, a Cisco AiroNet 350) with the maximum number of seconds the

NAS should wait for an EAP-Response before retransmitting the EAP-Message to the dial-in user.

In our appication this timeout is too short to complete authentication. We need to increase Session-Timeout to a larger number in seconds.

Question:

        How to change/config this attribute?

Should we change/add attribute in radiusd.conf? Or other configuration file? Or change source code?

Is the "timer_expire = 60" in radiusd.conf for "Session-timeout"? I changed the value of timer_expire, and still observed the same

        session-timeout from Cisco AiroNet 350.

Should we change the configuration of Cisco AiroNet Access Point?

Best regards.
