I have just complied free radius.So you can guess my
situation , specially when there is not a lot of
things avilable collectivly to read out.Goolge search
is ending so bothering you hope you mind, In future
you ll find me asking quite sensible questions so
sorry for this time.
I have cisco 4500 ios 12.2 dial up authentication is
fine. I have win2k vpn client with pap connecting to
this cisco.Problem is cisco send vpn client's passowrd
to radius encrypted.And radius is not authenticating
it.
I have make sure windows end , in security -> advance
Optional encryption is set and only check is pap
protocol.
In cisco Virtual-template 1 is set to ppp
authentication pap.Radius debug is as follow.

NAS-Port-Type = Virtual

I have tried all of encryption scheems in radius.conf
but same thing every time.
Any help folks.
