Hi all, 1.i want to know the difference between the accouting on and off attributes in comparison with the accounting start and stop attributes?? i do the following a) I use the radiusclient and acct-status-type=1 and start accounting the update of which i see in the radacct table. b) Now if i use acct-status-type=7 which is accounting on...the stop time is seen in the updated radacct table. c) the result is the same if i use the ' 1 and 2', ' 1 and 8(off)' ,' 1 and 7 ' combinations......
2.I am also using session-timeout using noresetcounter.....i have set session-timeout as 60 seconds the problem is no message is sent to the NAS giving an expiry...the acct-session-time keeps incrementing. --i can send an accounting stop after 60 seconds and the user is not authenticated the next time ...this is perfect. 3.Also in Feb2004 'rlm_sqlcounter Max-Daily-Session' i saw that the CHAP challenge is raeching the rad-server in the Access-Request?? hope u can clear my doubts, thanx a lot, regards, manjunath - List info/subscribe/unsubscribe?
