Ran into something similar on a different TAOS varient, a Stinger. Turns out you can control how the idle-timer functions by tweaking the answer defaults on the chassis. Your options are: no-idle-timer <- What I bet you've got input-only <- only packets in reset the timer input-output <- packets in or out reset the timer See if you can find something similar in your conf.
