Just wondering if anyone else has tried running out-of-the-box freeradius and openssl versions on SuSE 9.1 pro and had any issues? The versions are pretty high - although not in the v1 RC series. However I began testing using both EAP-TLS and EAP-TTLS yesterday and all looks good so far. has anyone else found other positive (or negative) results?
Also -- can someone explain to me why the CA.root script has a default lifetime of only 30 days? It seems to me that someone would make this more than 30 days. Obviously it was easy enough to add a "-days" option on the first openssl line in the script, but I am trying to understand why it would be set this way?
