Hi,

I'm currently implementing a setup with Cisco 7200's acting as LNS's and
passing AAA packets over to freeradius.

The purpose is for L2TP sessions for Optus Wholesale Dial and Telstra Layer
2 ADSL.

My problem is this (and possibly due to misconfiguration of the LNS's as
well as freeradius):

I need to limit the number of sessions, can this be done via freeradius?
Does anybody know of a reasonable list of VPDN/L2TP attributes that can be
set for users?

Also, I get a lot of dsin:: and realm authentication attempts hitting
freeradius, I assume this is the outbound user for the LNS's, how should I
be treating these? They can't be predicted for the ADSL sessions as the NAS
ID's often change (and there are, I'm sure, many hundreds of them).

Has anybody else setup Optus/Telstra L2TP style sessions with freeradius
prior?

Tnx.

Russell Brenner
