we have a mix of USR(dialup) and CISCO(dsl) and someone pointed out that we can set the DNS servers via radius.
it looks like these are the attributes i would want to set in the reply. dictionary.usr:ATTRIBUTE USR-Primary_DNS_Server 0x900f ipaddr dictionary.usr:ATTRIBUTE USR-Secondary_DNS_Server 0x9010 ipaddr dictionary.cisco.vpn3000:ATTRIBUTE CVPN3000-Primary-DNS 5 ipaddr dictionary.cisco.vpn3000:ATTRIBUTE CVPN3000-Secondary-DNS 6 ipaddr we are using mysql for the clients list. a few questions: what would the expected results be from using usr attributes on a cisco or cisco attributes sent to a usr? is there an easy way in the rad_sql to add a reply based on nas? or am i looking in the wrong place for this? we would want to allow our dsl users dialup access with the same username/password. - List info/subscribe/unsubscribe?
