rpmbuild --rebuild freeradius-1.0.0-1.src.rpm
It will require that certain development packages be installed. If they are not installed, it will list the ones that are missing. You can install these missing packages by typing:
yum <missing-package-name> <missing-package-name> ...
After it builds, the resulting compiled RPMs will be in /usr/src/redhat/RPMS/i386. To install, type
rpm --upgrade /usr/src/redhat/RPMS/i386/freeradius-1.0.0-1.i386.rpm

I suggest that you download, rebuild and install the FreeRADIUS 1.0.0
source RPM from Fedora Core development
http://download.fedora.redhat.com/pub/fedora/linux/core/development/SRPMS/f
reeradius-1.0.0-1.src.rpm>.
I am running it on Fedora Core 2 without any problems.
