Hello Marcus, 

Please can you layout here the steps you did to get
freeradius compiled on Woody.

I tried what you said in your mail (by commenting 
dh_installpam --name=radiusd ), but still get
dependency problems about libsasl2-dev and debhelper.

Did you do :
./configure
make 
make install

OR did you use :
dpkg-buildpackage -uc -us -b -rfakeroot

to build the package
