Hi
I want to use PEAP authentication using windows XP as client , WRT54G as AP and freeradius 1.0.1 as AAA server. I have slackware 10 with openssl 0.7d installed by default

As i have read i must generate a certificate for the server. To do this i used
"HOWTO on EAP/TLS authentication between FreeRADIUS and XSupplicant" and "FreeRADIUS/WinXP Authentication Setup" and "802.1X Port-Based Authentication HOWTO"
.The last one is the best for my case i believe The thing is that one says to use
./configure --with-openssl-includes=/usr/local/openssl/include \
--with-openssl-libraries=/usr/local/openssl/lib \
(the first paper) and the second not. I had already installed freeradius( before i decide that i need PEAP) and i installed it again. I tried to use the certificate in raddb/cert to see if it works but when the server started it stoped bexause of an error in the certificate.
Ok do i have to use the configure options or not?
Can i use the certificate in raddb/cert to see if PEAP works or not?
What happen if a make a new install over freeradius?

Thanks
