XP bootup

I am running Freeradius 1.0.1 and authenticating XP with PEAP to MYSQL. If I boot the pc in local workstation only mode and then enable the wifi adapter, everything works great. If I boot the pc with the wifi previously enabled, I see a stream of requests from HOST/PCDOMAIN trying to authenticate to Freeradius before the computer gets to the login screen. Since authentication can't occur until I enter the login credentials, how do I disable or resolve these requests. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
