Well i've tried the Auth-Type := Local and my radiusd.conf allows chap
with the following syntax :
authenticate {
Auth-Type PAP {
pap
}
Auth-Type CHAP {
chap
}
Auth-Type MS-CHAP {
mschap
}
unix
}
But with no success

Once i add the following line at the bottom of my users file the user get
connected with no problem:
DEFAULT Auth-Type := Accept
Please advise what could be the problem
