No, it says it found MySQL libraries. If the "configure" script
says that, then the server *should* be able to link to them statically.
Yeah, that's what I meant. Sorry. And yes, It *should* be able since I
have the headers (and libs) installed and mysql_config is pointing to
them correctly.
I'll try to install with --disable-shared
