you just need to install dependencies - tools such as apxs2-prefork are supplied via some SUSE package - this is the fun when doing home-builds you need to know your distro better. just use the contribute SUSE build stuff or use a prebuilt SUSE RPM for 2.1.7 if you're unsure alan - List info/subscribe/unsubscribe?
