Huh? Access points don't care about the EAP method.
Apart from the OP's particular problem, you can be assured that
there are APs that unfortunately do care about the EAP method in use.
Certainly EAP-TLS should be supported, as it's one of the only 5 EAP
methods tested by the WiFi Alliance.
