the one in /root seems to be the install archive. when you run radiusd, what command do you use, what is your $PATH variable set to and what does the output of radiusd -X say it is using? should be fairly obvious alan - List info/subscribe/unsubscribe? See http://www.freeradius.org/list/users.html
