I'm not sure that this is a compelling argument. If the companies running app stores simply pull applications whenever licensing complaints arise, whether or not they're legitimate, what prevents someone from making a bogus complaint regarding Apache-licensed source and getting an application pulled? Expecting Apple to understand the nuances of differing open source licenses seems ... optimistic.
