I already started a topic on the the sound delay when using --rdpsnd. But
unfortunately I lost the chance to reply to that posting directly.

In short: When using the option --rdpsnd with 0.8.x or 1.0 the sound is out
of sync when watching any kind of video (like for instance an embedded
flash). There's a delay of 2-3 seconds between frames and audio redirection
because of an implemented buffer for audio.
Vic, a few days ago you told me in IRC that the delay is intended and that
you thought about fixing / getting rif of this delay for a longer time, yet.
As I told you terminal servers become more and more interesting espacially
for computer classrooms in schools (at least in europe). Therefore there is
a great demand for some kind of minimal buildin multimedia-support. As TSMF
does not yet support all codecs and probably won't ever support flash it
would be very usefull to have the chance to watch videos with 240/360p at
least inside a regular session (or as fallback from tsmf).

enough to allow this. And if I compare to a MS RDP session this is already
working as well (sound is in sync).
I'm not a developer (I have no clue about your code), but I'm a system
integrator for terminal servers. So, plz understand this as a kind request
to get the audio into sync as I know there's the wide demand for this. It
would be nice if somebody could take care of this problem for 1.0 and for
0.8.x, too (0.8.x as there're a lot of systems that still use this version).
I know you guys still have a lot to be done right now for 1.0 and you're
very busy with the rewriting the code base, - but anyway I have this request
as I see the great demand for now and future.
