Hi Vic,
first, thanx a lot for taking care of the latency.
But for me it doesn't work (frdp 0.8 from todays gid), rdpsnd_latency.so is
not loaded when connecting:
user@client:~$ xfreerdp -g 1920x1080 -u user-d domain --plugin rdpsnd --data
alsa --data latency:50 -- --no-nla 192.168.15.107

I tried different sessions, all couldn't load the rdpsnd_latency.so (for
instance using the standard sound server pulse):
xfreerdp -g 1920x1080 -u user-d domain --plugin rdpsnd --data latency:50 --
--no-nla 192.168.15.107
xfreerdp -g 1920x1080 -u user-d domain --plugin rdpsnd --data latency:100 --
192.168.15.107
Gadi, what about you? Does it work for you?
... I checked the availability of the plugin in /usr/local/lib/freerdp/ and
there's no rdpsnd_latency.so! This explains the error ... ~:-)
Vic, did you add the plugin for 1.0 only?
... OK, it's in version 1.0 only.
For me, if I use pulse sound server the session terminates.
If I use alsa everything works fine. Like this:
xfreerdp -g 1920x1080 -u user -d domain --plugin rdpsnd --data alsa
latency:20 -- -x l --rfx 192.168.15.107
Vic, is there any chance you buildin the latency argument also for version
0.8 (?), - as for now version 1.0 still cannot be used in production
environment.
Thanks again,
gotsiboon.

All the data continuously generated in your IT infrastructure contains a
definitive record of customers, application performance, security
threats, fraudulent activity and more. Splunk takes this data and makes
sense of it. Business sense. IT sense. Common sense.
