Hi,
I just want to learn that what is the fastest way to test image or ISO files that you have used in making of FreeSBIE 1.1
On my system running 8.preparefs.sh and 81.mkiso.sh takes about 1 hour. And after that I use Vmware to test my iso for testing ( I am using vmware to boot directly from .ISO file). With that I can boot 5 different FreeSBIE systems (which doesn't run X of course) and test it. If I see any mistake on my specially created iso I run 9.restorefs.sh and edit iso content and use vmware again to test my newly created iso.
A second way to test is to use 82.mkflash.sh I think. I just want to learn if you ever used jail subsystem to test FreeSBIE ? Is that possible ? Maybe setting an IP without using DHCP may solve the problem. (because jail system works with a preknown IP). But I don't know how to handle X if I start system using jail.
Anyway how did you test FreeSBIE-1.1.iso before releasing it?
Best REGARDS.
