* Re-added "configure" in hopes of fixing the automatic builds

I have a few documentation updates on my own box as well, but can't upload
them to either the development or the stable branch until my ISP fixes his
bandwidth problems. Or until I copy the stuff to a disk, carry it to my
box at work, and upload it from there...
