Also, on with the sound stuff.  The volleyball sound effects are being
set to really zonky loop values: -1, -4, -7, -9, -10...  screwy, eh?

I'm trying to figure out why SQ3's music when Roger opens his eyes is
all screwed up -- the game keeps re-initializing  that handle.

Another thought.   Is it possible the soundserver exhibits differing
behaivor depending on the value of the priprity?  For example, if you
interrupt a song with a priority < 10, you resume playing it down the
road, unless the new song also has a priority < 10.  

Similarly, perhaps -1 means loop forever unless the song has a priority
> 10 or something like that.

I pulled 10 out of the air here, but this sort of behaivor would
explain a few things.  Now to gather enough empirical evidence to
support this idea.  :)
