Hi, according to the ALSA list, flushing only breaks when a signal is received. Unfortunately, libggi uses SIGPROF (IIRC) to notify itself to update the display regularly (at least on X); therefore, flushing won't work on libggi with ALSA ATM. Just thought I'd let you know, in case anyone else has been having those kinds of troubles... llap, Christoph
