Right above that lineColor2 call, add the following:
fprintf(stderr, "draw %d %d %d %d %08x %d %d\n", newline.x,
newline.y, newline.xl, newline.yl, scolor, xsize,
ysize);
And let me know what it spits out before it crashes.
