Hi,

this e-mail was sent to me by Listar with a request for approval (need to
double-check the configuration- I thought I'd set it to allow submissions
from anyone) a few days ago; it's been deleted from Listar's cache since,
and I'm therefore re-submitting it manually.

Sorry for the delay! I was away on a short vacation (since there wasn't
much happening on the list, I didn't think it was neccessary to announce
this) and will be digging through my inbox as soon as I can muster the
courage to open it again...

Anyway, here's the original mail:

Hi all,

Can anyone (Lars? Rickard?) please help with documenting the sci0_soundserver
function in soundserver.c? Particularly the aspects to do with timing and what
ticks, wait_tv, last_played, etc... do?

This needs doing so an event-driven model can be tried for Windows.
Unfortunately it seems that event-driven models are The Microsoft Way. Before
attempting that, I'd really like as much info on the sound server as possible.

Thanks for your time!

Alex.

P.S. Apologies if you receive this more than once, I'm having severe problems
with the mailing list.
