Hi,

althought i'm not involved in free-sci developing, i'm using Berlios now for
about an half of a year ("gnu dbox2 software project").

We decided to use berlios instead of sourceforge because it was a german
newcomer (ok) and ... hm, i don't remember. Anyway, i never regret this
decision, we're using the cvs very often and it always worked - except some
minor (user) problems.

One problem is that Berlios is down sometimes - not very often, but
annoying, especially if you want to commit something. But i think this can
happen even on the best system, and it's been always back online some hours
later (you can even call the administrators and talk with them, i was told
:)

Anyway, it wasn't very long or often (2 or 3 times in that half year?). At
berlios, you have full shell-access, thus copying the old repository is
possible without any problems (we did so too).

You have an additional fast, free web- and ftp-server with no traffic costs
or limitations.

... So i personally would use berlios, but i have to admit that i never used
sourceforge, though..
I just wanted to say that berlios is not a bad choice.
