Hi Christoph,
As you know, I support this. From the Sourceforge Web site, "A number of
projects moving to SourceForge.net have existing CVS repositories. In order
for the file history to be properly maintained, it is important to obtain a
complete copy of that repository, and to submit it for import by
SourceForge.net staff.":
http://sourceforge.net/docman/display_doc.php?docid=768&group_id=1
BerliOS appears to offer a similar import facility, although they use the
word 'tree' rather than 'repository'. Both sites appear to use the same
software so hopefully the same thing could be done?
http://developer.berlios.de/docman/display_doc.php?docid=37&group_id=2
I'm not fussed with which site although I would probably prefer SourceForge
since it's familiar and well known.
Alex.
