Something's broken with the reverb setting, then- if you want to, you can
submit a bug report for that, otherwise I'll (try to remember to) do it
tonight. Thanks for narrowing down the problem!

I'm not sure about the door sounds, but the intro music is supposed to
play, however:

VERY strange, unless your harddisk is broken. The 'resource file' part
should be made more specific, I should improve the error message.

Well, OK, that explains why you're not getting the intro song: The
resource loader can't find it, it seems to be unable to decompress it or
something similar ('I/O error' here comes from the decompression
functions, AFAIK).

This is very unusual. Has anyone else seen this happen on Win32? Maybe
it's a generic problem we're having there (with 'binary mode' missing
somewhere, or something like that)?
