Hey hey hey...I go out of town for the weekend and come back to some major
changes! Here are my findings on SQ3:

Okay report on Win32 port using the win32p:

Space Quest instruments on introduction are all present. Tempo issues are
still there, BUT! the intro music does stop when the door to the pod opens.
The pod door opens, Roger jumps out (sound of feet hitting the ground is
still delayed with the win32p sound server), the pod closes, and the light
now *immediately* shuts off in the pod. (I tested this twice in a row)
Sometimes in previous builds, the pod light would take different amounts of
time to shut off or never shut off at all. Sometimes it would shut off after
2 full minutes. Shuts off at a good time now!

Instruments: I can't say I know for sure what instruments the composer (was
it Seibert?) intended for the percussion. Right now, it seems to have
changes to "monkey island" sounding drums with a cowbell doing the accents.
>From the adlib days, it sounded more like a trap set with a bass drum and a
snare....but I am not sure what it is intended to be.

At the end of the song, it is supposed to loop...correct?

I get this (at the end of the song):

--NEW--[Handle 05ea ---- pos = 232e]
==EOT: loops=-1, loopmark=116
Looping back from 9007 to 116 on handle 05ea
--NEW--[Handle 05ea ---- pos = 0075]
--NEW--[Handle 05ea ---- pos = 0079]
--NEW--[Handle 05ea ---- pos = 007d]
--NEW--[Handle 05ea ---- pos = 0081]
--NEW--[Handle 05ea ---- pos = 0084]
--NEW--[Handle 05ea ---- pos = 0087]
--NEW--[Handle 05ea ---- pos = 008b]
--NEW--[Handle 05ea ---- pos = 008f]
--NEW--[Handle 05ea ---- pos = 0093]
--NEW--[Handle 05ea ---- pos = 0097]
--NEW--[Handle 05ea ---- pos = 009b]
--NEW--[Handle 05ea ---- pos = 009f]

.....

So it looks to signal a loop...but then the music just stops after it gets
to that 009f line.

Camelot:

Eee. Hmm. Camelot is kinda odd. The songs come in and basically sound like a
band warming up. There is no real tempo. Some notes hold 4 times as long as
they should. Others don't play at all. Around about the 4th or 5th time I
ran it...the intro music sounded a little better (on beat), but the "Arthur
in his Court" :) theme sounded like it was still having major issues.

Just FYI,
Chris
