It was fun getting to see all the Extreme Development that was going on around the Christmas holidays. The main port that I use is the Win32 port. In some of the latest threads, it was mentioned that using MCI for Midi playback could possibly be one thing to do. I was wondering how this was going.
- In the latest CVS (although the latest sound changes were made just a little while back) adlib support was added, correct? I cannot get the win32e or win32p mt32gm stuff to playback any music at all right now. The compiled binary that was released on the website worked, and the CVS snapshot at the time that binary was released would also compile and work with sound. Just latest note on the subject matter (and continuing information to help encourage everyone to "keep up the good work!") Also - this is gonna sound odd...but do you think it is possible to port Freesci to the PS2? I know that the Linux development kit has been released for it. (It comes out in the U.S. in May I believe) I don't know any of the details of it (PS2 hardware/Linux platform/"How the system architecture of Linux on a PC IS Indeed different from that of Linux running on a PS2"), but it sure would be neat. Good luck with everything! Chris _________________________________________________________________ Join the worlds largest e-mail service with MSN Hotmail. http://www.hotmail.com
