you can do this by displaying the maps in tksurfer with the appropriate
threshold, then using the custom fill button to fill each area you click
in to create an ROI.

cortical thickness between groups. those areas are different of the
parcellation generated by FreeSurfer, and, i want to take that area from
the *.mgh and to create a specific label on FreeSurfer that only show that
areas of significance to make the measurements with FreeSurfer on that
specific area.
