Thanks Bruce. My end goal here is to get a surface map where each vertex has the value of the distance (along the surface) to a reference vertex. So it sounds like this program can do what I'm looking for. Thomas, if that sounds possible could you let me know how to implement that? In the meantime, Bruce, I'd probably find the source code useful, so if you could send that my way I'd greatly appreciate it.
