External Email - Use Caution

Hi Sabrena,

Once you get it working the WSL option works flawlessly but it can be
tricky to get over the first hurdle. The help instructions are written
assuming that you are fluent in Linux.

Check which version of Ubuntu you have. When you start WSL it will give you
a message like:

Welcome to Ubuntu 22.04.2

and download the corresponding release of Freesurfer 7.4.1
The help doesn't tell you how to download or install the package and I'm
afraid I have forgotten the commands.

Maybe someone else can chime in here?

I use VcXsrv for my X-server graphics interface.

Michael
