Hi David,

Great to hear we have some juicy real world potential to test. I'm
sure it's what a lot of us have been salivating for.

If I did this conversion in say cooledit, on the windows side. Would
that be fine? I am guessing the reason you suggest this is because
many sound cards are unstable at 8Khz (I've seen that HRD underclocks
mine sometimes to 7.98 to get best results). But just checking this
will work fine.

At any rate I shall run WSPR later see what locations I can be heard
in for a general idea of propagation possibilities, and perhaps
announce a time I'll be sending test transmissions from. Well, after I
go and modify my awesome (hah) speaker wire based antenna. I finally
got my antenna analyzer and found it was actually resonant on 6.4Mhz.
Which is of limited use to me.
