Just a thought... I notice the Teensy 3 board comes with a Cortex M4
chip onboard...

I was thinking of using one of these alongside the Raspberry Pi in a
semi-SDR, since the Pi has an audio output on-board.

16-bit ADCs as well (no DAC though).  Would one of these have the RAM
(16kB) and flash (128kB) to run CODEC2?
