The results are not quite the same using the c2enc/c2dec. I've gone over
the build flags and I have replicated all the explicit build flags but
autotools adds others which seem to have to do with dependency tracking and
shouldn't be affecting anything functionally.
Once difference is glay23 is not included in the codec2 library in
autotools but rather included though the "reach-around" method we've
discussed directly by freedv, but I wouldn't think that would matter since
it's the same source either way.

I'm assuming you've been able to replicate the problem with the same svn
revision comparing both the autotools and cmake builds?
