#1 is easy enough, but I think for #2 and #3, I need to get another 
sound device (I'll pick up a couple cheap USB devices) to test 
properly.  My sound card has three sets of connections, so my use so far 
has presumably been using the same clock for all IO.  I'll likely wait 
and pick them up at Hamvention since it's about the same wait time as 
shipping from Hong Kong, and I'm the only person so far who wants this 
feature.

If it all works out, I just thought of a new mode that may be worth 
playing with... using left/right channels to enable full duplex use with 
a single sound card.  Not sure if sound cards generally have enough 
isolation between the channels though, so it may not work very well in 
real life.  This would likely end up waiting until I build a new rig 
interface though.
