Hi all Thank you for your comments about fdmdv_demod.
As soon as cmake will work here, I will switch to the newest version. But since it does make a mess with 32 bit and 64-bit libraries (e.g. Speex) I can not use it currently. Because I want to get on air with the codec2, I don't currently want to solve the cmake issues. But after reading the doc in the freeDV-api, I get the logic behind the demodulation. So, I will do it.
