This is why you get the lawyer involved _first_. We used to have problems with PG&E in California, just getting them to clean up arcing lines. Eventually we got FCC to write them a memorandum and make sure they would stick to it, but it took work by lawyers.

    Thanks

    Hi all,
Although I am licensed, I'm not particularly active on air.

At present the power company is petitioning for a transmission
    line (240KV
or 500KV) very close to my home and I am researching what negative
    impacts
it could have on me and my hobbies.

If anyone has particularly good resources they could point me at, that
    would be great.

One area I thought I might like to play in the future is QRP. Many
    thanks,
    Simon.
