Hi David I have made a cable for the 6pin mini DIN connector based on the IC7000/IC706 RJ45 microphone connector standard. This means that the same patching jumper arrangement can be used for either the mic connector or the mini DIN socket on the IC7000/706 radios with either a 6pin mini DIN connector or RJ45 connector on the radio end.
Note the IC7000 does not have audio out on the RJ45 connector and requires a separate audio lead (radio speaker) between radio and SM1000 This arrangement will also work with any radio with the "standard data socket" (6pin mini DIN) made popular on the radios input for data modes.
