Hello All Time to ramp myself up on all this .
I have some basic build questions for freedv. feel free to point me to a URL. Question 1) I've found the repo, all the stuff under codec2-dev, I've found the STM32 stuff I've found the build instructions for the GUI versions, and the README . I'm looking for the command line tools for freeDV at 700 bps and can't find them - Do these build from the GUI code with a different configure script ? Purpose : I want to encode an audio file and generate a sound file of FreeDV, for use for the purposes of encoding a 45 minute amateur radio sunday news broadcast for dropping into an SSB radio 'offine'. Question2) - I see the windows installer version is 0.98 (and includes 700) , and the Debian package is 0.96 (no 700)..
